What is cubism? 
Cubism is an early 20th- century style and movement
in art, and it is very likely to be painting. Cubism art was
made of simple geometric shapes. 

When did it start? 
Cubism started in 1907 and has continually got better.  

Why did it start? 
The cubist art movement began in Paris around 1907.
And it was mainly led by Pablo Picasso and
Georges Braque, cubist art is mainly a movement
and one of the main things used in cubist art, are
geometric shapes. 

Name a famous artist which is known for cubism? 
  • Pablo Picasso



Describe what you like and dislike about cubism? 
I really like that you get to use random shapes to come up with an art piece but I feel like it may be hard to actually make it look like something people would like. 

What normal elements do you see in cubism? 
  • Shape 
  • Form 
  • Texture 
  • Value 
  • Color 
  • Lines 
  • Space
